After months of training, Bryan attempted his first marathon this weekend. Finishing with a respectable time of 4 hours and 15 minutes, his performance was nothing short of inspiring. What is perhaps more impressive is that later in the afternoon he proceeded to play two full half’s of an Arena Soccer game! He is a machine!

Yes… that’s Erica hanging from a helicopter at 5000 feet above the ground. I went with her out to Skydive San Diego this weekend to check out the scene. I ended up riding shotgun in the helicopter and got some great photos of the jump.
For Erica’s 26th birthday, we all met up at Brewbakers in Huntington Beach. In addition to their pizzas, pretzels, and beers on tap, they let you brew your own beer! Their setup is pretty awesome, and the owner might be the most personable proprietor I’ve ever met.
My cousin Ryan must be some kind of child prodegy. I brought my old 1985 NES over to his house and showed him the original Super Mario Bros. The kid was amazing! At five years old, I can remember the struggles I had just trying to pass World 1! How is it that my cousin, who has never played the game before, was able to fly through the game as though he had been playing for years?
